Rural Stories: Treasures from the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery Collection
This free program is open to anyone in Saskatchewan age 60 and over. Pre-registration required. Join from your own home – on your phone in a conference call format, just like an old-fashioned “party line” – no internet or computer is needed.
Have you always wanted to learn a bit more about Canadian art, and exercise your brain while doing it? Join
Catherine and Christy for a glimpse into the fascinating world of Saskatchewan artists.
Over four sessions, we will explore a selection of prints and paintings depicting the theme of “human stories”, and use prompts to try different elements of art-making ourselves. This is an informal and non-judgmental program that promises lots of fun – no creative experience necessary!
All visual reproductions of artwork will be provided, for inspiration and discussion.
Maximum of 20 people.
